The European Parliament’s Calendar

The European Parliament has an annual calendar from which the Parliament’s schedules can be easily checked. The calendar is divided into sessions and meetings.

It includes:

  • 12 four-day-long periods of plenary sessions in Strasbourg and 6 two-day-long periods of mini sessions in Brussels;
  • two weeks a month for the meetings of delegations responsible for the relations between committees and the parliaments of various states;
  • one week a month for political groups’ meetings and
  • four weeks a year for the Members of Parliament to work and be present in their own constituencies.
